Hey what I suggest you do is post the version you bought (Slitherine or Matrix) and the exact order of what patches/expansions you bought /installed. also some basic PC specs., likly graphics card and driver info... That way when someone from Slith or Hexwar sees your issue they can offer an immediate suggestion... Good luck !

Is it possible that you have an option on your video card control panel which might affect whether it tries to use hardware cursors?

Cheers

We develop the game on Windows 7 64 platforms (as well as other), on one right now and we have never had a mouse issue. Have a look at your mouse settings in the Windows Control panel and look for the options there. The default windows drivers and settings for all mice should always show the mouse cursor. If that fails can you confirm your PC model, graphics card and mouse model. Thanks Keith

I see on the Matrix forum that you foudn the issue was caused by your mouse trail. It might be worth checking for updated drivers for your mouse to see if they fix the issue.

got a new asus netbook with a dedicated video and dual processor! 1024/768 finally !
Great but with win7 64 bit there is no mouse.
I have to ctl-alt-tab and when FOG is windowed. Then I can see my mouse pointer.

I have set the mouse controls various ways but still no answer. I got the net book to play FOG on the road. Grrr , Humbug!

I need inspiration as I am sure I will eventually figure this out. :?:

Can you replay with the Asus model information. Almost without doubt he problem is in the graphics driver/settings somewhere in control panel. If you provide more information I can most likely be more specific.

Thanks
Keith
