Today i have played two games with my Late Achaemenid Persian ( Darius ) army. In both armies i have Scyrhed chariots. At the end of the rally turn if they have been in contact with the enemy they have just vanished!! is this a bug? one of them had a D but the other had taken no losses at all!

If scythe chariots end their turn adjacent to non-disorered units, they evaporate. Theypre a one shot weapon.

This is the expected behavior. If they don't break all the opponents in contact then they die automatically. This should be described in the help. They also do not count in strength of your army or as loses against it.

This reflects the fact that one they've charged into the enemy and ground to a halt then if there are any enemy left they get butchered . If they kill all the enemy then they can regroup and do it all again!

Best used against disorderd or fragged troops or for rear charges if you can pull it off.

Am going to have to try them with the Galatians.
