Too many download attempts

well... I tried 3 times to download it. And from the latest and only existing download (always used same folder) I only get an error msg, failed self extracting.

It is strange that I´m being told I would be allowed "only" 5 times, when there is no working download so far - and I wonder how "attampts" are being counted. And even more, that every "attempt" obviously is viewed as a (working) download. For example I stoped the 2. download after a few seconds if I recall it right.

Ordered a CD now, but I doubt that it will have a look on it after soon after this frustration...what a mess

This is Digital River. I can manually go in and override their policy but I have to do it individually case by case. It happens because of download managers. We recommend you disable them before trying to download as the DR system does not deal with them very well. Send your order details to info@slitherine.co.uk with the problem and we'll sort it out.

thank you very much for your kind offer. (in fact I do not use a download manager) I was also offered by another kind digital river guy to download it in reaction to my email complain - so your service works fine, its monday now and so I have time to wait for the CD cause I don´t have time to paly these days :)
