ImmortalFire-SetupRelease-v130 will not install--first time every on a DR purchased.
Downloaded it twice

Moved to the Tech forum to get the correct eyes looking at it.
Can you give the error message you see when you attempt to install? Are you certain the download completed correctly?
The more information you can provide, the better.

I had the same issue but waited for 3 or 4 minutes and it did start on my second attempt. Seems like it is doing a lot of unpacking or checking before getting going. Maybe wait a bit longer and see ?

I notcied the intall program takes ages to launch.

1.30 update freezes

I got the installer initialized. Moved on to the required 1.30 auto update. Can not get past 72%. It just freezes up.
Is that a server issue?
I am thankful, however, that my FOG/ROR/SOA installation still works.
Still, am looking forward to updating and playing IF.

Sorry you are having problems. The server is very busy at the moment so try again later and it should work.

Thanks Ian for response. I'm sure you have had a crazy week, but I hope sales are commensurate.
It's so easy to succumb to the "I want it, and I want it now" syndrome with these digital downloads.
I got the patch to finish downloading a few minutes a go. Sorry for my impatience!
