Gents

Have been reading the reviews and discussions on the forums and thinking of taking the plunge and buying a copy of this. Am an experinced borad gamer who's favourite game is World in Flames but am yet to find a computer game that can come close to it, is this it? Know I'm asking the converted but how good is this?

Phil, welcome to the forum. I would suggest reading over some of the AAR's, which are located in the AAR section. CEAW comes in two flavors, vanilla (i.e., the standard game that you would purchase) and the Grand Strategy expansion, which is a free add-on.

Also am a WiF vet, this game with the Grand Strategy mod is quite good, even with some minor issues it is the closest thing to a playable "WiF" I have come across. So you should for sure check it out!
