Just tried to go on to multi-player and the message is to upload 1.3.0 patch. But no sign of it anywhere.

Also had two emails saying that IF is being released today. When might that be?

I tried this and mine says I have the most up to date version (1.2.16)

The update button shows a 1.2.9 patch not 1.3.0. Is that OK TO dL?

You have to first install the 1.2.9 pacth and the press the update button again to get the 1.3.o patch

Hello all,

I downloaded both patches and now the game stalls at the intro screen with no selectable buttons on right side. Also, says I'm up to 1.30 but also IFR preloaded? Any ideas. Was just checking some PBEM and followed up with patches. I pre-ordered IF btw.

Anywhere we can see what changes and improvements there are in the latest patch?

It's up and running, task manager shut it down and it's working fine. Looking forward to release of IF. Great game guys. Great community of players.

Fire up the game, go to the help files and open the "Other information" folder, then click on "Release Notes". It's quite a long list.

The ability to claim old games is there, but doesn't work because of a "network error code 1" thingy.

I went from 1.2.9 to 1.2.16 with 7 updates and it says I have the most up to date version ? When I fire it up it hangs as mentioned here then when I use task manager it says I have 1.2.16 BETA and then runs ???? If I update it says I have the latest version at 1.2.16 Beta. I preordered months back but have no e-mail with any new link or serial nor is it in my e-mail or spam boxes etc.

Have people received an e-mail do I assume with the 1.3 link and serials ? Not received by me at all however as has happened before for some reason. I do get the RECEIPT e-mail when I pay though.

Yes, I ran the Check for Upgrades twice...once to 1.2.9 and then a second time to 1.3.0. No glitches...ran a game as well since then.

So you got no serial number or e-mail either but just updated twice ?

Mine wont get beyond 1.2.16 and giving the beta message and hanging at the first screen.

Now I did not take part in the beta for IF. Partly to avoid any such glitches!!! Maybe it's something with the beta.

No serial number (that would be for IF when it is available). Just updated the normal game twice.

Everyone will update to v1.3.0 which is required if you want Immortal Fire. IF is on the DR server and we're waiting for them to let it go live.

OK Iain that makes sense BUT mine is stuck at 1.2.16 with that Beta message and wont get beyond ??

Are you going from the beta to the full version. If you have issues try reinstalling 1.2.8 before you try and update and see if that helps.

Its got back to 1.28 fine and upgraded to 1.29 ok, now is upgraded to 1.3 which is a large patch it seems (or slow download)..................has safely upgraded to 1.3 and plays fine now.

So it LOOKS like anyone with the 1.29 Beta patch should drop back to the 1.28 full patch first before upgrading as Iain suggested above
