Forgive me for being new and not knowing all the hotkeys or features yet.
Benpark mentioned in another thread about allowing a further zoom out. We were told about the M key and that works well.
Just for discussion I thought I would describe some other games view points.
Original Combat Mission had no scroll wheel view, hotkeys 1-5 were preset isometric height levels, 6-9 overhead. + and - also zoomed in and out.
Panzer Command uses scroll wheel, 1-3 for quick preset iso. Tilt and pan are by middle mouse button/scroll wheel click and hold or by holding shift key and moving mouse.
Matrix Operation Barbarossa TSFR uses the scroll wheel with a pendulum view. Scroll in to near ground level view, scroll out to varying isometric, ending with far overhead.
Other programs use left click and hold to move the media around.
I've never worked on a multi platform project and don't know how it is to design features that work across the board.
