Long Range Missile Fire Out Of FoW

I don't know if this is bug with attacking, or if a bug in the replay, I suspect the latter.

A couple of times in the last day I've been watching a replay of my opponents moves and he has moved missile units into dark areas covered by FoW and then fired at my unit. Now, conceptually, at least in my mind, if he can see me then I should be able to see him. There were no trees or hills involved, just a screen made by other units. So, since I couldn't see where he moved to then I'm assuming that he shouldn't be able to see me either and so shouldn't be able to shoot. Now, I can't believe that this fundamental error exists, so I'm assuming it is a quirk of the replay. If I remember correctly then I've seen a thread on this before. This is the first part of the error.

The other part is that the missile fire seems to come from a different place from where I'm expecting he moved to. I know within a hex or two where he could've gone, but the missiles seem to come from much further away. Indeed, the arrows, which I can see floating across the darkness, seem to travel about 8-10 hexes to hit me. This is the second part of the error.

I'm fairly sure it's a replay thing, but I thought you should know.
