I have ROR and SOA and have all running fine on my old windows xp laptop. Have just got new computer (Desktop Windows 7) and installed FOG 1.01 then patch 1.2.8 and it didnt recognise SOA. SO I uninstalled and installed ROR 1.01 and SOA 1.4 followed by patch 1.2.8. NOW it recognises SOA and not ROR ??

Which sequence do I need to follow to get both up to date and working on the new pc ?

RoR should be ok at any point. Nothing removes ror or soa so this is odd. Did you install to the correct folder?

Iain thanks for the reply - yes I thought it odd too as I let both install to the default folders that the installer suggested. I have always used Windows XP and the new PC is Windows 7 ( thankfully managed to miss out on Vista !! ) and have to say in general liking Windows 7 but dont know if its doing anything different to where its installing than what XP did ?

Want to get this set up and running before Immortal Fire comes out this week to add to it.

All I can suggest is you reinstall and check the install path carefully.

Deleted everything, and reinstalled everything and yes they were all going to the same default path safely but this time its running fine !!! Have no idea why it was a problem but all ok now.
