Check your mail for download details for anyone who has pre-ordered!

Note there is a glitch with registering of serials meaning you have to do it manually to play multiplayer for now. use this link and we'll fix it in an update - http://www.slitherine.com/register_serial.php

Lots of new armies and I believe a chinese one! I always wonder what the Roman empire would do if they met the Han!

What Chinese army is in IF?
Thought the furthest east the expansion was going was the Indo-Greek/Indians?

Great news, beta is here!!! but my screen not, green colour is dead and need wait the new screen

A little question about beta, i read that as in other betas install it cut your multiplayer games if your opponent dont have the beta, well, but in e-mail i read that you can install the beta and then if you want return to previous version to play multiplayer game you can do it reinstalling 1.2.8 patch... is this correct???

"You can leave the beta at any time by installing the 1.2.8 patch again and this will revert you to the current full version."

I am curious to see greek armies but i am in the end of a tourney and want play it... at least when i have again green colour

That's great but I can't log onto multiplayer. Despite registering my game, it says my serial number is not registered. Has anyone been able to log on?

Yes it was the Kushans. I didn't think they were Indian but I'm not sure about that timeline and geographical area. Alot of these new armies are a bit off the beaten path(LOL). CURIOUS, are there Mongol formations? Or is that too far east.

I beleive they are actually Chinese origin. I have tried an army of them on the TT and if I recall they are a nasty one to face off against. Romans should have an allergy to cats so we shall see how they do on the PC.
I have 2 games to finish off them I am in beta!!!

Spartans anyone???

Yes!

Are we allowed to discuss IF in the regular forum, or is there a rule against public discussion

Both forums are open to the public but best to keep any comments in the beta forum so we can find them :)

See http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Kushan_Empire for more info about them. They were essentially a central Asian empire that arose as a successor in the area previously controlled by the Greco-Bactrian Successor state.

Sorry the beta has started - if we do a new batch of betas you'll be included but it may be too late now.

The Thracian list is missing the Roman auxiliaries icons. When you open the list it says there is an error, and going through the troops types the Romans in the list are blank.
