It would be useful if the battle screen could include a reminder of whether these are turned on/off. Although you can usually work it out quite quickly it can sometimes be confusing when you have a large number of current battles with a mixture of options and you lose track of what the original setup for each was.

Would it be ok to have them shown in the preferrences? You can usually tell fairly easily.
