Upgrade Version

I have a question...You need a older version ( v 1.02 or 1.04 ) from Grand Strategy to install v 1.05 or only need CEaW 1.12?Thanks and sorry for my English

For v1.05 you need to have installed v1.02 and then apply

If you already have v1.04 installed then you can apply
http://rapidshare.com/files/375572225/GSVer1.05-INC.zip to get v1.05
The installer for GS v1.06 should be release by Slitherine next week.

No that's not possible. To install v1.05 download the GS v1.02 installer and install that. They apply v1.05 over the top afterwards.
However; if you don't feel comfortable doing this the official installer for GS v.1.06 will be release very soon by Slitherine and you could wait on that.

The installer version of GS v1.06 must be installed directly over CEaW 1.12. With that version, or any other GS version with an installer, you need to uninstall any older version of GS before installing a newer version.
IMPORTANT: DO NOT UNINSTALL the vanilla version of CEAW (i.e., 1.12 or 1.12 MH), which you need installed to be able to properly install and play GS. Only, uninstall a previous version of GS before using the installer to install a later version.

Why do we have to pay for a download service? And do we have to buy all of them to get downloads? Why do I have to pay for this one when I already have driver detective?

I think you misunderstood. The above was for a pre-release version, which is
no longer needed and could/can be downloaded for free. The official installer version for v1.06 has been released and can be downloaded (again for free).

By the way, any reference to GS pre-release downloads on rapidshare are meant for free downloads. I put these pre-releases up as a courtesy and prior to the final official version. As I don't personally have a dedicated server I use rapidshare, which is free. However; the official versions do not use rapidshare and can be downloaded (for free) from the above links.
