Lost two games yesterday!

I am still learning FoG even though I have played 25+ games now against the AI (I am a slow learner and I generally stick with WWII games). Even considering that I suck as a FOG player I had only 2 losses until the 1.2.7 patch...one of these the first game I played and had no idea how the game worked. Now this may speak to my innate skills...or more probably a weak A.I. Since the 1.2.7 patch I have lost 2 out of 3 games! The first loss may have been a loss even in 1.2.6 as it was an unbalanced scenario and I took the weak side as a challange. The second game I lost was with the Romans vs. the Gauls and the Romans had a nice line up on a hill...easy victory in 1.2.6 and it started out that way...then things went south. I was frustrated that the easily routed fragmented units were not staying in the fight for the easy rout but retreating to be replaced by fresh units. The Gauls still did some brain dead stuff (like allowing me to take their flanking units on a wild goose chase trying to run down two of my light mounted units. I also noticed that they picked on my weaker units with more aggresion than I remember pre-patch. Anyway...the AI kept itself from being an easy victory...at least that is progres in my book. I will have to plan and think a bit more now...and maybe learn the game
