First impression

Hi,

Some first impressions (several really minor ones):

a) Icon isn't really anti-alias and has an ugly white outline
b) While looking on the historical scenarios, I at least miss Otterburn. I'm not sure if other scens are missing, but noticed Otterburn, because it's from me.
c) Anti-alias fonts look so much better then in the Win version
d) Nothing Mac-specific: WOuld be nice to get a Enable/Disable Zoom-by-Mouse-Wheel feature in the Prefs. I disable the whole mouse wheel thing in the Parallels VM I was using previously, because with a Apple Magic Mouse (which is default on most newer iMacs) one triggers a scroll very easily (remember the Magic Mouse as only a touch surface and no wheels or buttons.) So it would be nice to have the possibility to choose between mouse-zoom and keyboard-zoom only.
e) Having played 3 or 4 historical scens I noticed no specific bugs yet. Good work.

More later---

Cheers and Many Thx for not having me open up and shut down a Win VM, just to play my favourite game any more.

f) Having an older iMac, I run 1680x1050 natively. In the DAG the string "Select a nation" breaks line after "a", showing something like

Select a
_______nation: (without the underscores of course)

A similiar problem when showing Harlaw 1411 in the Hist Battle list. The "Ilses and Highlanders" string is too long a breaks line very oddly. (Apart from the fact that it should be "Isles and Highlanders"...)

g) In the same dialogue (in RoR "mode"), for the Late Republican Roman (Brutus&Cassius) list, the list name is to wide for the list, so that the right bracket partly shows over the vertical scroller.

h) The application runs full screen. So far so good, but when you try to check for updates (why is there no auto-update option), a standard Mac OS windows title bar shows up. Reentering full-screen seems not possible. The application stays in full screen resolution, but because of the title bar the window content moves down. Strangely enough, the default Mac OS menu is disabled as well.

i) Seems more a general problem, not so much a Mac one. For many of the historical scenarios there's only the term "Complexity" listed where there should be info about board size and number of BGs. Either this is a combination of scen authors forgetting to give information and quality control missing this OR some data offset issue.
I wonder why this info cannot be generated by the FoG client out of the map files....

Thanks for the testing.

On the icon: the current one is a stop-gap, and there is be a new icon for the final OS X release.

On missing scenarios: Well spotted, there is some missing data for Otterburn. We'll fix that in the next update.

On the odd line breaks and the title bar appearing when you use 'check for updates' (f, g, h): these things haven't happened when we test. What version of OS X do you have please?
