I have a Bg of LH in front of a BG of Kn trying to tempt it to charge. In my opponents turn he succeeds in not charging and advances right up to the LH. He also wheels a unit of LB behind the corner of the Lh in an attempt to prevent it evading when the Kn BG charges next move.
In the shooting phase he claims he can shoot on the light horse because he can shoot one base width to the side of the firing BG. i claim he can't. Who is right?

regards
Brent

From your description, provided the LH are level with or in front of the LB, they can fire at you. If they are perpendicular, they only count one base in arc so can do no damage. Don't have my rules with me so can't give you the page number - sorry.

Pages 82 and 83 cover shooting arcs.
A bit hard to picture it from the diagram and the description but it looks like only 1 base could shoot and its not going to do any damage as petedalby said.

Looks like your LH is in a bit of a sticky situation come charge time.
