I have a game at the club tonight against a new player who wants to use a Late Sicilian army (mid 13th century).

Can anyone suggest a historical opponent that would give a good game?

Papal Italian or Communal Italian would be *the* historical opponents.

Looking at the list histories Feudal French might be a good option.

Sicilian Vespers immediately come to mind.

Charles of Anjou v Pedro of Aragon.

Gets no better!
