Smoke

I find it a little amusing that this game borrows a lot of good things from ASL, barring Smoke. To be honest, I felt that whole infantry-smoke grenade fiasco was a bit over-done and the least realistic element to ASL. Everyone abuses it for good reason, it's over-powered.

And to be honest, I am GLAD that smoke isn't available in this game (for infantry), but I think it SHOULD be allowed for tanks. After all, for many generations, even today it is almost impossible not to find a tank without smoke generators. Rommel even used them on the attack to mask the fact from the enemy that his units were always understrengthed.

I know we are at beta, but in the future this is something you may want to look at.

As much as ASL is hailed as the most realistic squad game by many, one can not ignore the fact that smoke was never used as heavily as that game centers around it. I just wanted a nice descriptive word to sumarise my viewpoint on it :P

You are absolutely right; but it was used during WW2, and that's enough for I think for adding into this game; with limited amount!

We decided not to support smoke some time ago - it required some significant work to do and we felt added too much complexity.
