Slitherine

I bought Spartan some time back, a completely new disk. I ran it on a computer with this hardware:
System: Windows XP Home
Service Pack: 3
Manufacturer: Dell

Worked perfectly! Got new computer with this hardware:
*Windows XP professional
*Service Pack 3
*Manufacturer: Acer

When I click to play it, it shows the "loading" screen but never loads. I read the instructions and did these steps:
*Installed the latest Direct X version.
*Had the disk properly inserted.
*Deleted the "movies" folder.
*Ran it as an administrator.
*Disabled the sound.
*Updated all graphics drivers.

Still not working! Anybody got any ideas or a suggestion? Please!

Note: I downloaded a game fix so I could play it without CD. When I run it, it gets to the game's menu fine. But when i click play, the
choose scenario screen has no campaigns listed! Just an empty box where the campaigns should be listed!

Sorry we cannot support anyone running pirated versions, whether you have the disk or not. I understand you say you have the disk, but this is just an absolutely forbidden area. I am locking this thread. If you talk about any form of piracy or hacking again you'll be banned.
