Patch Notes

Having read a number of posts recently asking what's been fixed etc. including some discussion on changed behaviour (e.g. shooting out of woods). I was wondering if you have considered posting detailed patch notes on your website, or as a help page or in this forum?

Iain posted a reasonable summary of a lot of the changes with this latest release, but I think there was a lot of detail that was missing.

An example of one of the best sets of patch notes I have seen is this one from World of Warcraft http://www.wow-europe.com/en/patchnotes/, whereby it lists everything grouped by category; general changes, class changes, item changes, spell changes.....

Thinking of how this could be applied to FoG; general changes, army changes (within that, unit changes), melee changes, missile changes, terrain changes, etc.

I suspect I know the answer (no time or resource), but if the devs updated a centralised document as they made the changes, then hopefully it wouldn't take too much work for someone to format and proofread before publishing.

Anyway, just a thought

Also check the release notes entry in the index for the online help. This has additional information about changes.

We'd love to do more detail but we dont have the resources of World of Warcraft :)

We have to balance the time between making changes anddocumenting them and we favour making them over documenting them most of the time.
