Mechanized Corps
Tank Corps
Air Armadas (3 Air Divisions)
Sub Squadrons
BattleShip/Destroyer/Carrier Groups

KingHunter,

Are these the numbers the game designers use?

A variant of the original question would be to ask how one estimates step loses from the casualty reports. Or do people write them down from turn to turn in order to report them in the "fall of France" thread?

game designers????

According to the manual, here's how the units break down.

Air (1 step) = 26 planes, full strength 260
Armor (1 step) = 52 AFVs, full strength 520
Surface Ships & Subs (1 step) = 5 ships, full strength 50
Infantry, foot or motorized (1 step) = 5036 soldiers, full strength 50,360

Outstanding!

Infantry/Mech Corps = 50,360
Armor Brigade = 520 Tanks
BattleShip Fleet/Sub Flotilla (Corps) = 50 Ships
Air Group (Regiment) = 260 Planes

I think that is correct - At least according to Military Doctrine. Hope this helps.

Jay
