Fog army book minor criticism

I have the FoG "Swords and Scimitars" book but unfortunately none of the miniatures photographed in it are referenced so I don't know who manufactures them.
In particular I love the Military Orders Knight figure on page 49 and would like to build a whole BG of them. Can anyone by any chance let me know who manufactures this figure?

At a guess I'd say 28mm - probably either essex or perry miniatures you coudl try to find their sites to trawl through the pics.

I dont think that slitherine has a manurafacturer deal other than with the wargames minis plastics so either this was the case or its just too hard - getting suitable pics including references to the manufactureer may not end up with the best pics. Also then they'd probably get manufacturers clamouring to get the best painted and photographed pics of theirs added into the books and the principle was to get the actual players involved by publishing real figs in the books.

If you want knights of that period in 15mm, I look at Mirliton's Teutonics or Italian Communal ranges. Legio Heroica are also very nice figures.

Lots of pictures, suggestions for figures and list of manufacturers on Madaxeman's web site:

I think that is a 28mm mirliton figure - perhaps the rider is MEC007 with a Great Helam head substitued. An excellent range with a great deal of variety. I used them for my 1288AD Germans

I have just put through orders to Mirliton and Legio Heroica. Hopefully they're about the same size.

You'll be pleased with the mirlitons.

I have an entire latin greek army of them painted up:

Legio Heroica, head and shoulders better than any other manufacturer in-period.
