Is Slitherine getting enough exposure?

I was just over at Matrix Games, and frankly it is not such an unusual thought that you guys might be too invisible, even if Matrix Games does indeed sell some titles through themselves originally from Slitherine sources.

I refer to a comment to the effect that a person inquired of wargames for the hand held, and it was plain they don't even seem to realize any of your games exist.

The Nintendo DS has some great wargames. We know it, but does anyone else know it?

Commander Europe at War is a no doubt about it classic hex loving turn using grand strategy wargame.
There is also Panzer Tactics.
The Advance Wars titles might have a not so wargaming looking story aspect, but I can assure you, they require decent wargamer skills to win.
The Age of Empires titles also require actual wargaming skills.
There is the tank suimulate Heavy Armour Brigade which is a WW2 setting.
Steel Horizon is a challenging naval wargame.
B-17 Fortress of the Skies is a fine flight game as is Allied Aces and Il 2 Sturmovick.
I just got T.A.C. Heroes Big Red One and it requires skill to play.
Great Battles Rome is a fine game of yours.
Civilization Revolution is good fun.

And this is just me getting warmed up.
There are lots of quasi rpg turn using games out there.

But today, at this moment, Slitherine is the only source of undeniable hand held wargames I am aware of.
The trouble seems to be, not many people are aware of Slitherine making good hand held wargames.

Historically we've focussed on trade marketing. We were primarily a retail driven business with 95% of sales coming from retail. Whatever retail stocks will sell in shops so once you've sold it to them you're 90% of the way there. In the last 6 months we've shifted the balance and are are pushing towards digital distribution as a significant income stream.

When selling to retail you have to sell to the buyers (basically trade marketing). When selling digitally you need to sell to gamers so its consumer marketing. We're in the process of switching over so will be doing a lot more consumer marketing going forwards. It always helps to have you gusy spread the word though :)
