Rules question

Above you see the log of a ranged attack of a horse archer BG against an elephant BG. The shooter is only armed with a bow, so I wonder why it gets a +1 POA bonus for ranged weapons
except bow and sling vs elephants?

I don't believe this POA should apply either. Will log as an error.

By the way, isn't there also something wrong with the die roll in the last line equalling zero?
