Extended Download Service question?

Hi there

I was wondering if the Extended Download Service lets you register for more than one machine? I bought Gates of Troy about Novemember and although I can download the game again it says I have already registered for the max number of machines. I can't unregister it on that machine because it was lost in a house fire in January.

I was about to order it again (or maybe Spartan this time, can't decide!) but I wanted to check if the EDS thing was any use just incase I burn down another house

For all our games released after 2008 then yes it would allow this. The older games dont have serial numbers and restrict how many installs you can have. We've dumped this system as its too intriusive for users. So unfortunately for GoT you'd ned to mail us your order details to info@slitherine.co.uk and we'd have to authorise it on your new PC. If you want to avoid the issue completely order a boxed copy from us and it does not use this copy protection system and you can install it on more than 1 PC.

Thank you for the reply.

I've emailed my order details but it sounds like I need to go get a cd since I'm sure to want to play for longer than this old pc will last :)
