5412-6681-- brought at Salute on Saturday and played. Sunday added the patch so the Storm of Arrows could be played. Now can not get into either game.

Sorry you are having problems Trevor. What patch did you apply? What version number do you see on the main menu or are you saying you can't get there?

I down loaded patch 1.2.5 : this was done after playing 1 game

I see thaty there is a patch 1.2.6 , will I need to run that as well and what about the map patch some are talking about.

Trevor what version number does it say bottom left on your main menu screen when you run the game? When you say you cant get in to either game what do you mean? Where did yuou install the game to and the patches? They must all be in the same location.

I loaded the game onto the P.C. When I downloaded the patch I saved it in the flle generated but outside the file for saved games. While the disc was still in the P.C. I then ran the patch.

Now when I try to play the game it just takes me through the install process. It will not let me load the Storm of Arrows disc at all.

When I was able to play the game it said version 1.1.2 ; I do not get that far now

Please can you try the following steps:

1. Go to Control Panel, then Add/Remove Programs.
2. Click Field of Glory, then click Uninstall, and go through the steps to uninstall it.
3. Install Field of Glory from your CD.
4. Download the version 1.2.5 patch.
5. Do not move the patch file anywhere. Just leave it in the folder that it gets downloaded to.
6. Run the patch by double-clicking on it.
7. Follow the steps to install the patch.
8. Download the version 1.2.6 patch, and repeat the above steps to install it too.

an error occured. it was a decompression error. a screen print was sent to Iain via email

4 weeks after buying still not able to play

Are you sure the patch downloaded correctly? A decompression error could well mean that the file itself is corrupt.

If not, then can you let us know the version of Windows you are running, and the path you installed the game to.

download went smoothly. I am using microsoft XP. . If I buy "Field of Glory"as a download would the "Storm of Arrows" disc work

My Documents: FieldOfGlory

There is no difference between the disk and download version so they are compatible.

I have received my lap top back from my daughter (at Uni) a year early and spent the evening playing version 1.1.2 So tomorrow will use the patches and try "Storm of Arrows" and register

Great - glad it is finally working. Sometimes PC's can be a real pain!

still not got "storm of Arrows" but using v1.2.5 at 3.00Am when unable to sleep. Many thanks for making the long nights bearable. will being buying other downloads shortly
