I had problems installing the latest patch and had to delete everything and start over. It took quite some time getting all the patches and installing them in the right order, but I was successful.

What I'd like to know, should this happen again, is which patches to I really need to do a reinstall? Surely, not the eight or so I had to deal with. Will the developers some consolidate some of these into one current version of the basic game that we can download?

All you need are 1.0 -> 1.1.0 -> 1.2.5. The patches were getting too big to include everythign from v1.0 to 1.2.5. This has made life more complex unfortunately for you guys...

We have remastered the full version on Digital River to include these patches so from tomorrow I hope all new players will start with 1.2.5.

Thanks for the info. That's good to know. I went to the downloads page and grabbed everything FoG related and installed it all. Might be better to simply remove all the un-needed patches to avoid confusion. Would it be possible for us FoG veterans to download a complete current version of the game?

At the moment we dont have a way to do that - the only full versions are hosted on DR's site. If you had the extended download service from them I guess you could grab it, but we dont have it anywhere on our site.

I don't have that, but it's good to know we only need two patches to get current.
