medieval in scenario generator

What does the choice "medieval" do in the unit editor? All of the stock medieval units have such selection as "no" when placed on the map. I can not find anything about it in the help files. Thanks.

Soe of the sounds are 'Medieval' e.g. artillery, so if you want mediaval sound effects from that unit select medieval. Keith
