The game was installed and running fine. Then the other day the screen froze when I was exiting the game. Locked up the whole system. Wound up having to just turn it off. After booting back up the game would no longer load. Figured I had some corrupted files or something. Unistalled and reinstalled and still will not play. Nothing happens when you click the shortcut. When you first load the disc it just comes up to the install menu even though the game is already installed. When I tried the shortcut from within the program folder it said Java.exe could not be found. Later that night Java popped up a message that a new version was ready to be installed. Installed the new Java thinking maybe the auto update/ installer from java had caused the problem. Now it doesn't say it can't find Java.exe... it just doesn't do anything at all. Have tried unistall/reinstall multiple times. Please advise. Thanks!

I don't know if that'll solve your problem but I think it's worth a shot.

Thanks for the info but its not the fix. Hopefully someone else has another option.

It really sounds like something has gone a bit wrong on your PC. If the game was working and then stopped and now it wont let you install it could be some sort of HD failure issue. I'd suggest you scan for errors and check for viruses. Clean off any remnants of teh old install and then try again.

What is your OS and which version of the game do you have?

I had an original electronic download on another computer, deleted the game off it some time ago (over a year) and copied the files to my new laptop. The new laptop has the new windows and the game will not start. I did get the Java.exe error message as well. What is the fix and are there activation issues?

Sorry you are having probelms. You cannot copy the files - you have to install them. PC's dont let you do that these days. YOu'll need to use teh installer - you can download it again from www.findmyorder.com if you have extended download service and if not you can purchase that for a few dollars.
