It's Gone A Little Quiet

I hope this is just due to the immenient release of the new version of the rules. However there have been a couple of posts of feedback and no response. If it is not possible to give a complete response (and I understand the limitations of time) then would it be possible to just make some general replies to the feedback in the context of the new version of the rules. I am about to put in another battle report and want to make sure that the feedback is still valuable before I committ to the time.

Sorry guys - we are revising the way we respond to feedback. We're hoping to make it much more immediate over the comin weeks. We know it has been very slow up till now.

Initially we wanted to make sure the whole design team responded rather than just one person to ensure we'd covered all the angles in the feedback and didn't have one of the team later realise an issue the others hadn't thought of. In practice it has been too slow to get the right people together to provide this feedback.

We're moving over to a new system where most queries will be responded to on an individual basis. It should mean you get responses on the day or very soon afterwards. The down side is that if other members of the team disagree we may need to revise those responses later, but we think this is a more practical way to get the feedback out to you guys, as right now you're in a vacuum!

We really want to get the beta test moving and get more games played so will be introducing a few more players in at the same time to get the feedback levels up. Hopefully these two changes will get the whoel process moving again.

Thanks for you patience and we hope you enjoy the next version (coming soon)!

Thanks Iain. Sounds like a good plan to me. Keeping the beta team motivated with swift replies is going to be a lot better than the occasional re-write if a disagreement arises. Plus a little insight into how the differences between writers would be a good thing anyway. Just to set my own expectation levels your reply seems to suggest we shouldn't expect any feedback for the couple of weeks? Which is fine so long as I know.

From now on you can expect feedback pretty instantly :)

Richard, Terry & Simon will be chipping in from time to time with their thoughts, though mostly Simon as he is the one with the most free time!

Expect the first set of feedback this afternoon!

Hi chaps. Up and running with some feedback and I'll try to get them done within a day of you posting things.

I am renowned as the king of the typo so excuse the odd bit of dyslexic typing. I shall try to go through and catch them all once I have got the gist down.

Thanks again to all for all the great work so far. It has been extremely helpful and shoudl get moreso as we enter the land of vs 2.

Cheers
