I've followed the install guidelines, but I seem to be missing a java.exe - as that is the message I get when opening the Gold Grand Strategy mod shortcut. Any ideas?

Assuming that you used the installer you need to override the default install location and select where the standard (i.e., vanilla) game is installed on your computer.
