Future development of more terrain tiles etc ?

As the number of scenarios increase especially with SOA it is proving to be a problem with lack of terrain tiles to depict the type of battlefield that is needed for given battles of the past.

Is there a plan that Slitherine will expand the tile scope in the editor in future patches / expansions to allow greater realism as I feel its badly needed ? Such as different types of trees, buildings, walls, bridges and fords, more impassable terrain options, winter effects with snow, and even different looks to the tiles such as trees or swamp for visual variety ?

I would think this would be high on most gamers and scenario designers "want" lists.

Particularly buildings -

Farm type and urban type - both for N Europe and Arid areas would be handy.

Then I suppose town wall sections would be required as well - would they be impassable and destructible? So units would have to destroy them to cross? I think they would be best as blocking tiles to avoid the old problem of defending troops advancing after combat and leaving their defensive position.

We've already got fortifications in DAG so they could be made available in the editor. I'll be trying to recreate Alesia in the next two or three weeks and some fortifications will be necessary for that one!

Gentlemen,

first at all this is a fantastic game concept !! Can“t stop playing RoR. Nevertheless would be great to add fortresses and siege engines to the wish list for coming updates.

Cheers, Klaus
