Deployment of DAG army

Is there a way to fix the deployment of an army that we have created with the DAG ?
Each time I create a battle with an handcraft army, I found the units all mixed together instead of having them gathered by their types.

You've got a good point there. They appear to be placed in a random manner when the game starts.
Given that no-one would want to start off a battle with that positioning, it would be better to have them grouped by type (and maybe not dead centre of the player's setup area) so you could more conveniently place them where you wanted them.
Or, better still, have a 'save layout' button for each army as you suggest.

A quick solution to the deployment problem would be to allow the player to switch sides inorder to do AI setup.
Also allowing a save would allow for the game with particular armies and forces to be played from either side
Another soulution would be to have four random setups (left, center, right, and spread out like it is now)
Another related problem is the inability to generate unequal forces. Unless I use the scenario editor the program will always add additional points to the weaker army. With poor AI deployment and equal forces I never loose to the AI.
Unless I am a reincarnation of Cesear or Alexander these flaws take away from long term playability of the game against the AI.

Its still way better when you play against a human opponent.
