Slitherine

I'm wondering whether these have cast on shields. There are two packs, one standing and one advancing. In the standing pack there is clearly one figure with a cast on shield. Am wondering about the others. I think I'd like to use these for Arab conquest by substituting round shields instead of the kite shields.
