French Bidets

I don't know if they're intended to be this way, but are they a little 'flunky' to anyone else? They're classified as unprotected light foot, but my longbowmen can't seem to scratch them. They're hitting for like 11 max each time, and the bidets are throwing out hits all the way up to 40 or something. The longbows are scoring better hits against more armoured units.
