Bugs or design decisions???

I want start this topic to have a more coordinated section for post possible bugs that could be part of a design decision like the problem with shoot units as medium foot that cant cross the line.


Well, i was posting some beta images in a forum and show the dismounted feature and find when i see the post a bug???

Well, as you can see mounted unit has average morale but when dismount is superior!!! any thing to say???

PD: are the PD active in the beta??? try to deploy pikes for lowbow units but can do it...

Yes some troops increase quality when they dismount. It is teh same as the TT.

PD are only active if you purchase them. To purchase them click on PD on the unit and see the price change. I think we need something more obvious like a check box next to the PD.

Ok, i see, i think that do a true manual for FoG could help to find easy in the future this things.

For stakes i see it army screen and now see how works, increase the unit price in one point but a little advice, is possible add in the map a icon to show that the unit has deployed stakes??? (can have this units a icon to show that they can deploy it and change when a unit is in the stake hex) or do stakes more visible (i dont play with zoon in) and other question, if you move the unit stakes are mising, well, i think that stakes are like RoR defensive constructions or even as a terrain type and if the unit moves after deploy stakes cant deploy stakes more stakes is fine but i think that the deployed stakes need be a permanent terrain obstacle.

When stakes are placed you see them drawn visually on screen. You have to place them the same way you dismount/mount. It needs some explanation.

I know but i refer to add an icon for units equiped with stakes and for mounted units that can dismount to know what units have the special hability and if they are using it or not because if you move now a unit equiped with stakes the unit loss them. I think if you move the unit with staked deployed stakes need be in the hex as an obstacle or special type of terrain.

Of course i know that change this isnt a fast change but is interesting add this features in a future.

I see what you mean but there is already too much clutter on teh UI so dont think we'll add it.
