Limited Assymetrical Games

We've had lots of talk about break from the equal points convention. The following is for fun not a tournament.
What about say 650 versus 800 points.

But the catch is both armies have a comaprable break point level. Players arrive with both lists. So you may be playing an 800 v 800 or 800 v 650. So you don't tinker with your 800 list overly much.

The game "score" if you will is calculated so that both side are more "even" for the pick up game purpose.

Side A 650 points 11 BGs
Side B 800 points 14 BGs

Side B begins with the difference already lost. In this case 3.
So for "scoring" if they each inflict 6 points before its off to the pub, then Side A wins as its lost 6/11 and Side B lost 9/14.

Would this be worth playing? And what differences or levels would you suggest that are still playable?

What happens if the 800 point army has equal or even less BGs than the 650 points one?

This may be the big chance to field Tibetans at 800 points.

Simon Hall has run a variable points tournament at Rampage. There is a thread about it in the tournaments folder.

I can't off hand remember how he scored it but I have not neard any bad things about it.

Your idea also sounds interesting and then there is the system the Finns use at Winter War but that need the same games to be played several times by different people.
