I remember from my visits in the UK that everybody loves betting on results on strange sports (like cricket)
Are there already some bets placed for the results of the IWF in Athens?

IIRC correctly the excuse for not finding the venue at the Europeans in Roma last year was setting his alarm clock to the wrong time-zone... :D

Time zone is a good point

Athens is 2 hours ahead of London

I'm going with Terry, at least he chose a rather stylish army, so should get a couple bonus points on that alone. :)

Played Terry's army on Friday at the Challange and a fun game it was too.

Actually against light horse and shooty cavalry they aren't that bad. It will be interesting to see how they fare.

Sadly correct. I'm undergoing surgery tomorrow, so no WIC for me and no Ilkhanids for you sharks to feast on. :(

See, bloody German efficiency again. If you went to a British hospital you'd still be waiting and have plenty of time to plan ahead.

Don't give him sympathy, it's all his own fault for riding a bicycle.

Real men have an accelerator pedal.

Simply ignore his ranting, he is just bitter that he can't get to the good seats in a cinema anymore as the way up there is to long and steep for him. :P

Dave, now, now. As Mr Coward wrote, lets not be Beastly to the Germans. They kindly beat Man U. and made 99% of football fans in this country very happy tonight.
