Uninvadable British islands control

I think we need a fix to these "airfield islands" northwest of Scotland, ie Isle of Lewis. Currently, even if the Axis conquer Britain, these islands are impossible to control as they are uninvadable single hex airfields. This is a bit silly, as if the Axis control the main British isles, these outposts would be quickly subdued.

A fix would be to make a single invadable land hex connecting the two airfields (quite a huge island in real life the Isle of Lewis), this would make it possible (if costly and cumbersome) to invade them as the Axis.

Alternatively, make control of them based on whoever controls the Glasgow hex. Ie if not occupied at any time, the control of the hex switches to the controller of the Glasgow hex. Isle of Man could be dealt with in the same manner.

Yeah and with the upcoming slightly bigger map due to appear showing 10 hexes or so of the North Cape and Murmansk, moving Iceland further north should make it invadable as well. Unless the UK is conquered it will be very risky for the Axis to do something in that area.

I agree with this too. Having recently conquered the UK in a game I found it frustrating that STRs could be placed in those islands and only if I have FTRs present can I convince the allied player to withdraw them. I think linking control of them to Glasgow is a good, and on face value an easy solution.
