Hey i saw your game, it looks amazing. I have a Playstation 3 in the United States. I can't find a single site that has a release date for the United States. Will, and if yes, when, will this game be released in the United States?

EDIT: I assume the European version wouldnt work on an American Playstation 3?

We dont have a date set yet - we are still workong on finding a US partner. In Europe we have distribution issues effecting the release and until the logistics are worked out we cant set a new date here. European versions will not work on a US PS3 or X360, but PC versions are fine.

I am really looking forward to this game in the US on 360! Not all of us here are interested in World War II or Middle East shooters, unlike you may be driven to believe!

Question: Why not make the UK release REGION FREE so I can import it? There are tons of English region free games out there, such as the NTSC-J versions of Mass Effect 2 and Risen.

I'm also excited to see your planning on bringing this great RTS to America! The PS3 really needs more real-time strategy games like this.

How's that? There are no regional lockouts for PS3 games and I've played plenty of Asian, Japanese and even European games on my North American PS3.

As far as I'm aware it should not work. The issue is if we send it to you and it doesn't work you can't return it as it wont be in the sealed packaging any more

Yes, the UK PS3 version will work on your US PS3. Here's where it gets tricky: should there be Downloadable materials available for this game *Including patches and updates via PSN* you may need the US version (at the very least, from what I can read on the forums, there must be a US release of the game).

I did buy the uk release of Greatest Battles Rome for PSP and it works like a champ. However if Slitherine will eventually do a US release, I will sit tight and wait. Partly because I really would like it for my xbox360.

We're hoping to but there are numerous hurdles in the way. If we do it will probably be late Q1 2011.

Great Battles of Rome of PSP wont release in teh US unfortunately. It's been too long and teh developer who created it has long since vanished.

GBM is going through the process with Sony & MS to see when they'll allow it to release. No news yet.

is their an update if not how can i cancel my order

We dont have any firm news but we're hoping late Q1 2011. I'm not sure what you mean about cancelling an order. You can only order the PAL European version from us, not pre-order the US version.
