I am not sure how to use the army list, if I take all the dailami as medium foot, ¿may the battle group have 9 bases or in that case it can only have 6?

No. Battle Groups have to have an even number of elements unless split 2/3 and 1/3 by type (page 22, last paragraph of column 2).

You can also take 8 MF.

Options are 4MF+2LF, 6MF, 8MF or 6MF+3LF.

This is the correct option to take, the others are there to tempt you :D

Expensive if you take them as armoured, as you should. But Dailami do tend to own any terrain you go for, and they're good against most things in the open too.

In Dailami proper I use 4+2 armoured superior. Any bigger and the army is too small, with no real filler in the army. Must try average armoured one day though.

I would love to take 8 bases of MF, but the list specifies "6-9" so I understood that I could only take units of 6 or of 9 bases. ¿is that the case?

Thanks again

No, the hyphen in normal English usage implies "to", not "or" :)

6-9 means 6 to 9 bases not 6 or 9 bases.

Yes lots of Polish have moved to England with the EU and all that

I personally would take the 4Armd +2LF for cost effectiveness in this army. And thats only if I had nowhere else to spend the points. You will normally find that if your enemy wants to contest terrain he will have more troops able to do it.

I take it you aren't a fan of dismounting some of the ghilmans to go play in the bushes with the dailami when the enemy also has good MF?

Lambert, actually I am playing tomorrow my first game with this army, I am only taking 2 units of ghilman and it is not my first option to dismount them (although the terrain might change my mind); I am taking 8 bases of armoured dailami for the difficult terrain and all the elephants. We will see how it works.
