What's in a name

It would seem that Art of War is already the name of a set of miniatures rule. This could be a bit of a problem IMO. There has already been one person on the DBM list asking the author of the other set about these new ancients rules.

I like Art of War as a name but as there is already a set out there albeit a fairly minor one there may need to be a change of name.

The real problem is all of the good ones have been taken :(

We could of course take a clue from 2001 and simply call the game CAL "Commanders and Legions" :)

My preference would be "Points of Advantage", however PoA is probably to close to PoW.
Another thing is you probably need a name for the core system as well as the specific ruleset.
How about Points of Advantage for the system name and "in Ancient Times" for the specific rules?

Hmmm,

at the moment "Cohesion Test" sounds the proper name to me... Or what about "Vom Kriege" ? Not used as the name for a game before - as far as I know.

What about either of Vegetius' book alternative titles, Epitoma Rei Militaris or De Re Militari? It could show there is a wish for continuity with existing systems in the use of Latin...
