I know the link where break offs were explained on here.

But where are they mentioned in the help/rules?

And where is rear support mentioned in the help/rules?

And as well, where is combat support mentioned?

Supporting battle groups in melee are described in the Combat Mechanism page.

Re break off, I haven't checked since the 1.1.1 patch but previously the only reference that I could see was in the Hex Icons page. The recent thread gave a lot more information which would be useful to incorporate in Help, if its not there at present.

1) I believe rear support is mention under Cohesion. (Don't remember the exact index entry for this.)

2) I believe combat support is listed under Melee Combat. (I know this is a link from the general combat section. May also have an index entry for it directly.)

The new on line Index accessible from the initial help page introduced with 1.1.1 for the on line help is a substantial improvement from the previous organization. I usually go straight to it now to look anything up.

Break off is missing from the Help Index and I will add a discreet topic for support to the index for the next update. The information on support in the various existing references to combat are too vague. Keith

You should add two sections on support since both support in combat and support in cohesion tests are generically called support. (Fortunately the TT rules only have the concept of rear support for cohesion tests so are clearer in how they use the terminology and this also made it easier to understand for the PC version that there are two essentially unrelated concepts of support.)
