How many dice in combat?

In the TT game BG's get 2 dice per front rank base in Impact and 1 perbase in the first two ranks in Melee.

Since BG's in the PC version are one "base" not multiple bases, how does this translate?

It assumes each BG is 4 bases. Each skull represents the loss of a base.

Ok.

Does each "base"fight in both Impact and Melee?

And does each base get two dice in Impact and one in Melee or something else?

I believe you always get 4 dice unless you have skulls showing or lose them for disorder and fragged or for support from your enemies which takes away your dice too. lose a die for any of the above reasons but I think you always will get at least 1 die regardless

Disruption doesn't affect LF fighting pikes since the LF only start with 2 attacks :twisted:
