Camp placement problem

Hi!
Well, i think the picture says it all

Talk about suboptimal camps placement
This is playing a DAG battle (500 pts) against the AI.
If the problem is that the map don't have any other level spot to place camps, map designers should make sure they think about camp placements sites (one in each side of the map), while creating DAG battles maps.
Cheers

Did you start this game after loading the latest patch?

I'm afraid the camps are still a moving. In an 800 point game Late Rep Romans v Parthians started yesterday 13th March I carefully placed my camp in the bottom right hand corner of the map, nicely tucked away behind some lakes and the main bulk of the Roman Army. It has now migrated to the open desert on the bottom left where it is being attacked by the Parthian light horse

Hi!
Yes this is with the new patch. As you can see in the screenshot i was still i the deployment phase.
The camps started on that location, but given the rugged terrain i haven't been able to put the camp anywhere else, as there is not a plain area big enough.
Of course the AI never redeploys his camp for what i know, so the roman camp will be just at arrow shot form my parthian cav

Is there a possibility that this game challenge was issues with 1.1.0? Thanks Keith

Hi
No, it is with the 1.1.1 patch. 100% sure
Its a single play game. I just wanted to see how a DAG Parthian army looked like.
I'm think the problem is that the map don't have any other level terrain big enough to hold a camp except that place were the two enemy camps are positioned together.
Cheers

I've seen the same thing on what looked to be the same map. Definitely v. 1.1.1.

To be honest I thought we had fixed this for 1.1.1, looking again! Keith

In a game on that map vs. Paisley, we had both placed out camps elsewhere, but they hadn't move when the game started. Here's the weird part: both camp locations included two camps, one form each side. In effect there were four camps all stacked together. When one side sacked a camp, the other camp showed up, etc. Although the camps were sacked several times, no points were awarded.
