No, not the title of another FoG expansion, merely musing as to whether we will ever, pardon the pun, see weather factored into the system.
Thinking of the effects of mud at Agincourt and the storm at Crimisus (339BC); movement reductions because of mud and LoS restrictions due to rain/mist/lack of light.

That would have been cool - they should have put that into the TT rules as well.

One way of simulating mist (and dust clouds for that matter would be to have them as a special type of terrain that was invisible on the map, had no effect on movement but blocked LOS, if possible it could also have a random chance of dissipating each turn hex by hex.
In line with this if we get opportunity fire in the enemy turn it would be good to have units having a random chance of firing on their own troops if they suddenly appear out of mist or dust (this sort of mistake was one of the deciding factors of the battle of Barnet (a Wars Of The Roses battle which people might want to set up for “Storm Of Arrows) also dust clouds had an important impact on many battles such as Gabiene 316 BC and Yarmuk 636AD.
