Not entirely explained in the current version, we handled Scythed Chariots as follows:-

Compulsory to deploy in the forward "skirmisher" zone (ie between 9" and 15" forward of the rear table edge)

Don't count towards initial number of units or subsequent attrition

Always removed at the end of the bound in which they first charge (or are charged themselves)

Profile - "C" class, Impulsive, Undrilled, no armour/protection, no missile POA, Heavy Chariots for Impact/Melee, elements/ unit = 2-4

We're still developing the rules for expendables so for now it is probably better that you avoid using them
