I ask because when I tried to make my Early Armenian (Tigrines) c in c an inspired commander I cant - yet I can with the other 2 Armenian armies (yes I had enough points, tried it with a new army without adding to defaults), and other armies I have allow it?

Thanks

For the TT army lists, some specific historic personalities are required to be ICs or prohibited from being so. Examples of the former are Alexander the Great and Hannibal. Examples of the latter are Mithridates and Tigranes (for the Armenians). So when using a list variant that specifically corresponds to a historic army or campaign that was commanded by one of these personalites, an army list can be required or prohibited from including an IC. I assume it is the same for the DAG lists.

I encountered the same issue, neil23, trying to add an IC to my Tigran the Great Armenian army. Looking up the army in the TT book, it seems that there is a restriction for that specific army (not the other Armenian variants) that they cannot have an IC. I guess Tigran the Great wasn't as good as his marketing suggests :)

But, this does bring up a UI issue, in that there is nothing to tell you, the player, that such a restriction is in place in the PC game. And when you DO try to add the IC, you get no message as to why it's not working. You should get a popup or something, or else we just think it's a bug.
