Do I have this right,
At effective range a 6 base BW* shoots with 3 dice.

Out side effective range it would drop to 2 dice.

The chart says 1 die per 2 bases at effective, 1 per 3 outside of effective.

I will sit down and wait for my answer.

One other question,
Is that for 2 ranks too? The QRS says nothing about ranks with BW*. Only with BW, X-B, and LB.

Bw* shoot like LF. Same dice and cannot shoot in impact (unless in a rear rank of different troop type if LF). So yes 2 ranks shooting.
