Downloaded file, installation was complete.
Initiated game from menu. Got popup saying it was trying to connect to internet to check for updates but would play normally even if no internet connection existed. Nothing happened.

Tried again. Registered program from same popup. Registration successful. game still does not launch.

It will let me link to the forum kust like it let me register. But the game does not launch.

Disconnected from internet and re-tried.

Got pop-up message:

BBC: BA: BBC_BA.EXE FATAL APPLICATION EXIT
*** UNHANDLED EXCEPTION
EXP CODE: 0xC000005 EXPFLAG: 0 EXP ADDRESS: 0x0003F035B Please Report

Any ideas?

Can you please cut and paste the last 10 or so lines of the error.log (found in My Docs\BBCBA) here. Also your system specs.

Do you also have DirectX installed on the system?
