Gates of Troy with the d3drm.dll file in the base directory is working fine on my Win7 64 bit machine.

I also followed advice in topic above
viewtopic.php?t=4611
inserted d3drm.dll file
inside game folders and it works fine on Windows 7 64 bit.
One thing I don't understand and it is how can I change resolution?

You can't change the resolution in Spartan or Troy. As much older games they weren't built to accomodate newer screens. Sorry for any inconvenience.

isn't Gates Of Troy a 16 bit game? I didn't think it could run on that

Windows hasn't been 16 bit for a very long time so there are very few genuine 16 bit applications out there, and (if memory serves) they'd run OK anyway :). It runs using a 16 bit display, but that will work fine on any video cards out there. But it should run on any version of the OSes out there.

Cheers
